Special Announcement

We am pleased to announce that:

• Beginning in September 2011, the Great Neck Camera Club has moved its meetings to The Manhasset Public Library (MPL), a state-of-the Art facility located on Onderdonk Avenue and Northern Boulevard in Manhasset.

The distance from the old location is quite reasonable and should add very little incremental time to your trips.

Beginning in September, 2011, we will meet the second and fourth Monday in each month through May of 2012. The room we will be using is the Community Room, located on the lower level of the Library.

There is an elevator available to use for those who need one. We have the room from 6pm each meeting until approximately 9pm. If we need to go overtime, the cost to us is minimal. Since we will be part of the MPL monthly programs, there is no cost to us for the use of the room, as opposed to The Great Neck Library which does charge us. We will have coffee and tea set up for each meeting. The early start allows us to, once again, plan for additional educational presentations, much like the GNCC used to do years ago.

The combined group, to be called the Manhasset-Great Neck Camera Club, will adhere to all the past rules and regulations, including the collection of dues, which we will now call "Judging and Presentation Fees" and will remain the same as before.

We will be providing additional information regarding this significant event as the season moves on. We are very excited about the move and the opportunity to grow the club beyond current levels. If anyone has questions or concerns, please contact any of the members of our Board.
